Father and grandfather could have been co-founders with the grandfather majority share holder and therefore CEO, passed on to the father when the time came.

So, in listening, I had a couple ideas
1. Ish needs a place to say, and the Chief Engineer recommended somebody live on that ship (Jezabell(?)). What are the chances that Ish is asked to live on that ship?
2. If I remember, I'll come back and add it

Could be. Feels a bit awkward though.

That's another advantage of Podcasting your books before printing them. You've got thousands of Beta "readers" to help you catch all the inevitable minor continuity glitches!

I really enjoyed the setup of the eligible bachelor paparazzi threat. That is the smoothest way for Frank Wang to figure out that Ish is back in town. I can almost see Gretta and Ish coming down for breakfast and then the news hits while they're at the counter, Frank comes out... Okay there is a reason we leave the plot to Nate!
Other aspects I really enjoyed: Mr. Paul's healing is very apt. Ish isn't the only healer, he helped him get started but now weapons training with the new crew--that Ish created the atmospheric conditions for--is taking it the rest of the way. "Trust Agamemnon" is being enacted beautifully. (Also noticed that William and Gretta are less connected than hinted in Captain's Share and that fits.)
And the back story of the new-crew-whose-name-I-can't-spell was really cool. The conversation with Kirsten accomplished a recasting of events of a previous book and succeeded without being contrived--rare feat. It recasts Maloney as less of a jerk and more the kind of guy Ish would put his life on hold to help (i.e.help his daughter).

Will Jen come knocking when she realizes that she got out too soon? (I like how Nate lays on her knowledge of spacer ways so thickly so we can't feel that Ish dumps her before she can share in the big payout.) If she does, I want her to hunt Ish down on the maintenance docks while he's up to his armpits in cleaning disarray instead of while he's lounging in some penthouse!

I've wondered the same thing. I tend to think not. Jen seemed like a basically decent gal. But on the other hand, they WERE still married during the Chernyakova salvage.

Wow, now that would be a wrench in the works. Getting the creds together is going to be hard enough for Ish. I tend to agree that Jen won't be part of the plot.

My thoughts exactly, but Nate has thrown us for stranger loops.

She doesn't even have to come after Ish. and she's not the bad guy here. How did Gretta know Jen cheated? Whose boots were they?

How did Gretta know Jen cheated? Whose boots were they? Interesting thought. Either it was someone Gretta knew, or ... I have to admit, ever since that conversation between the Chief and Ish at the beginning of Owner's Share, I've had this voice in the back of my head insisting that maybe Gretta is gay, and Avery Wyatt knows this, but Ish doesn't. It's a bit of an unsettling thought because, if Ish were to come to the same conclusion, it would be very arrogant. As if the only reason she wouldn't fall in love with him would be if men didn't do it for her ... While Ish sometimes comes across as arrogant in other people's eyes (the latest two chapters prove this nicely), I don't think he *is*, so I don't think he ever *will* come to that conclusion. Still, that doesn't mean it can't be true ...

It wasn't. It was a lump sum. Jen's gone. Everybody knew Jen cheated. Except Ishmael. The story actually has the clue as to whose boots they were.

Right! The neighbor! There goes my Gretta theory ... Oh well, there were too many things about it that didn't make sense anyway.
