Somebody didn't like the book based on the first five episodes and apparently gave me a set of 1's as a rating.

I didn't see anything posted anywhere so I'm going to assume it's the normal kind of "thank you very much" spammage that happens, once in a while.

Sooo.. When you get to the point where you think you 've heard enough to give it a rank? Would you?

If you don't know how, let me know and I'll walk you through it.

Also, I've filed it with iTunes, and I'll let you know when the feed is live there. Leaving reviews on iTunes helps boost the book's standings.

Thanks in advance, and please be honest in your ratings. All 5's is good, but if you think it's only a 4, or a 2, that's fine, too. Just getting more people to rate the book helps me a bunch.

Sure thing I'll go in as soon as I have heard enough... for that matter I should probably go in and check that I set ratings for the others. (done for the older books now, I was honest so sorry not all fives Smiley)

I see Double Share made it onto the top 10 Overall Rating.  Very deserving and with 4 books in the top 10, it definitely speaks volumes on the quality and content of Nate's writing.

Yea.. it's fighting its way back from 4.5 Smiley

With 4 of the 5 in the top ten for overall quality and the 5th in the "most rated" I'm very pleased with the outcomes.

I've rated Double Share. But I had to start IE (shudder) to do it, FF3 simply didn't show the selectable stars, despite me clicking on the review link Sad

that's odd. FF2 let me do it. One more reason not to upgrade yet, I guess.

And thank you for that sacrifice! Much appreciated Smiley

No issue.  I'm running the most current FF3 flavour and had no problems.  The way Podiobooks has it set is to maximize our effort in order to get it to work.  You just have to make sure every single little option is active.  The funny thing is that I was unable to log out of Podiobooks afterwards (well, it was funny to me).

Let's just say that I'm ashamed, but also feel that podiobooks should be Smiley

The cause of my inability to rate your book, and any other book, in FF3 was the Adblock Plus extension. But this in turn means that many other FF users will have the same problem....

I'm not sure what you're saying ... what about the adblock extension?

I guess my confusion is that most adblockers give you a notice that the ad is being blocked and an opportunity to over ride it. This is not the case here?

No. The only hint I get that something is missing is if there's free space, that obviously should be filled. Adblock Plus blocked the star images so completely that there wasn't even any free space, otherwise I would've noticed.

That's also the best part about Adblock Plus, it does its job perfectly. Only that it sometimes is too perfect, like on IKEA's site, which was quite empty with it enabled Smiley

I've turned Adblock Plus off for podiobooks.com now, and suddenly there're lots of little new things to look at, and not many ads Smiley
