I saw Spec/3 Power Phillipa Ballantine was already identified on the Trader's diary.  She's the voice talent of Askana, First Queen of Morevi.

SC Christiana Ellis, the fast packet that Ish hopped out of Port Newmar, is also the voice talent of Askana's Royal Guard, Elunea.

I caught that too.....

The SC Christiana Ellis made me blink.

and Iread this post and realized that SC could stand for SPACE CASEY,  Christiana Ellis' own space born Podcast in which she wrote and stars.    Quite funny.

The SC is  "Solar Clipper"
Casey answers the portal when Ish check aboard.

Casey is a nod to "Space Casey" when she says "Trust Me" which is Space Casey's catch phrase.

Nobody caught Hutchin's Gym?
Or the Crewman on the shuttle craft. (Chris Miller - he is a member of Podiobooks Staff (He created the rss feed that allows each person to start at the beginning of the feed instead of at the latest post.))

Damn I need to go back and relisten to the story again to get all the 'nods'.

There will be some that are so obsure that most people are likely not to get them.

Engineman Joseph Cottenwood  - Joe Cottonwood is the Author of the excellent  Clear Heart which is available over at Podiobooks.
Juliett Jaxton's name may be a nod to Paulette Jaxton over at  Form letter rejection theatre            http://flrtpodcast.com/ .
Nate had a part in her first production "divine fire". and finally Machinist Osmia Lignaria must be in honour of our fellow member Osmia.

I've started to listen to Double share again and the Easter eggs are coming thick and fast.
One of the cadets on the shuttle taking Ish and Bev up to the Shuttle is named Martin Casserly  - Martin Casserly is an actor who can be found voicing Kevin on Mur Lafferty's "the takover".
Diurnia Salvage and Transport trade with the systems Breakall, Welliver and Jet the names are familiar - or is it just me being a podcast junkie?

Those are names that can be found on his twitter friends list.

Mae Breakall is Scott Sigler's assistant.
Welliver - is Heather Welliver singer (I have to look up the group the Shillas i think)
Jet - Mistress Jet a fan that he met at Balticon.

(Wondering if I reached stalker stage yet...)

unless you are a godless pod-cast whore like myself Wink
All the references did tend to pull me out of the story at times but I'm glad they are there

My name got used as someone working in environmental on the Billy.
I'm still not quite sure where he got my full name from, but I'm not complaining... :-)

D'oh! I was going to guess Princess Ozma.

Further research though, reveals that Osmia Lignaria is also the taxonomic name of the orchard mason bee.
